the onscreen vampire is a dataset; a composite formed through the production-line output of thousands of adaptations which spans audiovisual culture. Duplication is written into the fabric of the vampire as a figure of the undead - grave robbing is part of the narrative, accelerating the expansion of this hoard into online spaces.
